One of the worlds most successful chefs; TV’s Iron Chef, Mario Batali won the James Beard Foundation’s “Best Chef: New York City” award in 2002, and in 2005 the James Beard Foundation awarded Mario “Outstanding Chef of the Year”. Mario has also been a recipients of the 2001 D’Artagnan Cervena Who’s Who of Food & Beverage in America, a lifetime achievement award.
Maro along with business partner Joe Bastianich own more that 12 restaurants in NY, LA and Las Vegas, including his flagship Babbo Ristorante e Enoteca. Mr Batali is a real inovator with regard to his selection of the highest quality artisanal produce, seafood, meats, and in the production of the finest salumi as well as hand cured meats.
Mario’s authentic Italian regional cooking methods and flavors are rooted in his own heritage and studies. The deep and interesting wine programs and great guest services are hallmarks of his signature style.
