Make Time for Change: Visit the Kids' Cooking Academy!

Remember when cooking with your kids meant making mud pies together in the back yard? Time to rediscover the fun of cooking together… and do some good, too. Frigidaire and Jennifer Garner are teaming up to inspire families everywhere to roll up their sleeves and get cooking together.

Starting today, at Frigidaire.com, parents can help their kids learn to prepare – and enjoy –nutritious foods at home by joining the Kids’ Cooking Academy. It’s the ultimate parent resource, featuring daily tips, tasty recipes and how-to videos starring chef and TV personality Mary Sue Milliken.

When parents join the Academy, Frigidaire will donate $1 to Save the Children to help providenutritious snacks and promote healthier lifestyles for children living in poverty in the United States. *

Plus, to help spread the word, everyone who participates will be entered for a chance to win the daily prize, a kid’s apron set, and the grand prize: a new Double Oven Range from Frigidaire, a family-friendly range that offers even more space for preparing healthy meals and snacks.

So get cookin’! Head to Frigidaire.com and get inspired to cook with your kids.

* Frigidaire will donate $1 to Save the Children for each time you visit the Kids’ Cooking Academy between 1/18/11 and 4/25/11 with a minimum of $35,000 and a maximum of $40,000.
