The Seventh-Annual Wine Aficionado Dinner benefiting the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program will take place on Thursday, May 14th at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. This year’s event, titled “2005: Vintage of the Millennium (so far!),” features three flights, each comprised of two to three wines from different wine regions across the globe, all of which are from the great 2005 vintage. The various flights will feature highly sought after wines such as the 98-pointRobert Parker rated 2005 Clos Fourtet from St-Emilion in Bordeaux, the incredibly rare 2005 Rion Clos de Vougeot from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, and the 97-point Robert Parker rated 2005 Colgin IX Estate Napa Valley Red Wine from California. Tickets for the dinner are $1,250 per person or $10,000 per table of ten and are available for purchase by calling 323.330.0520 or email to info@bogartfoundation.org.

One of the evening’s highlights is a live auction featuring one-of-a kind lots such as a coveted seat on the Robb Report “Car of the Year” panel; two exclusive “Best Cellars” lots featuring highly-rated 2005 vintage wines from around the globe; “Everything’s Coming Up Rosens,” a private movie screening in the home of Fred and Nadine Rosen; a progressive dinner for four couples in four of Los Angeles’ top elite homes; and a sports package featuring an exclusive private tour of the Gary CypresSports Museum of Los Angeles.

The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program conducts leukemia and cancer research for infants, children, and adolescents at the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Funds raised by Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program enable the foundation to receive more support for its research and care, resulting in 8 to 10 dollars in research grants for every dollar raised. Over the last six years, the Wine Aficionado Dinner has raised over $1.45 Million.
